Recently the group of companies I represent decided to diversify the business, starting a dynamic, ambitious and prudent study. After a lot of searching in Spain to start a super intensive olive cultivation, I decided to develop this initiative in Portugal. I found in Alentejo the ideal conditions: soil, good weather and water. About Consulai, my only regret was finding this magnificent team only in the last years. If it had happened longer ago, I would not have lost and given up of many other projects. Consulai has an excellent professionalism and gave me the right answers to my needs, with respect and always remembering the deadlines stipulated.

Looking back, and after nearly 20 years in the agro-industrial sector, I feel that coming to Alentejo was undoubtedly the right choice, at a time when agriculture was something very different from today. Over the years, we have been creating extraordinary teams, which is the keyword for our success. We were always investing in the most modern industrial machines on the market and teaching our 200 farmers the way we work with innovation and new high technologies in agriculture. Today, with more than 200 employees in our factory, we produce a wide range of vegetables and frozen fruits. About 99 % of these products are exported all over the World. We chose CONSULAI as a partner from the beginning to support us in ISO, BRC and IFS audits. After looking at what we did in Alto Alentejo and in this area, I think there is still a lot to do in this country and for agriculture

Fairfruit group was motivated to come to Portugal (Alentejo) by various factors, such as the abundant water from the Alqueva project , crucial to the development of our fruit growing projects. We have also developed a great work environment with local partners like Consulai, which has given us all the necessary support in terms of consulting and logistics, swiftly , essential for the realization of our projects.
